Happily capturing moments in life.
My children, brother and nephew reflected in the Coca Cola Truck. Well, it is almost Christmas 🙂
Barrow – The Lake District
Mirror Ball – Blackpool Prom
Barrow – Lake District
The structure in the last photo is interesting.
It is a great sculpture Colline 🙂
Where is it exactly?
It is in the town center in Blackpool Colline. The reflection that you see in it is St John’s Church which is opposite it. If you know Blackpool, you walk past Hounds Hill shopping center and keep walking and you come to it. There are a lot of hidden treasures around the place that I want to find and photograph. The whole of the promenade from Star Gate to Fleetwood is really great now for sculptures and art.
I have not been to Blackpool – though I have heard of the place. I look forward to seeing these hidden treasures.
Where are you from Colline? Blackpool get’s a bad press and there is a lot of it that I admit myself is very tacky and not nice. Party town and cheesy however, there are hidden treasures if you look hard enough and a couple of miles each way are the most beautiful places ever imaginable x
I admit to knowing of Blackpool because that is where the most prestigious Ballroom Dancing competition is held. I used to compete when I was a young adult and always wished to go and watch a competition there one day. 🙂
Was it in the Tower? How lovely. The Tower Drives me mad at the moment as it has had scaffolding and plastic around it for the longest time, no decent shots to be had really. I live a few miles out of Blackpool, in the day when it is not holiday season it really is a great place.
Unfortunately I have not been yet so I cannot say. This is their website if you are interested: http://www.blackpooldancefestival.net/
The mirror wall and the mirror ball are my favorites, but I like the variety you selected. Very nice.
Thank you Terri 🙂
It is a great sculpture. There is lots of art along the promenade and in Town.
All lovely photos. Put me in a reflective mood…;)
Thank you very much 🙂 I am making my way through all the others. There are some amazing ones this week.
Wonderful collection of reflections – that chandelier and mirror must be fun to clean! The sculpture is fabulous. Thanks for visiting.
Thank you ideflex 🙂
I love the collection especially the barrow, the composition is really nice. 🙂
Thank you, it was a great theme this week 🙂
They’re all great shots, but I love the one in Barrow. It feels like you can grab it!
Thank you David. I am desperate to get back to the lakes with a better camera, it is just breathtaking.
Beautiful. My favorite is where you have your family’s reflection. Happiness and family…priceless treasures!
