Fallen Star

I lie in your arms
before leaving this place.
Kissing through tears
of this final embrace.
 Searching for answers,
that cannot be found.
Wanting to fly
without hitting the ground.
Knowing this love has
been worth all the pain.
As we fall from the sky
broken hearts freshly slain.

    • Thank you. I don’t do many sunsets but on this day the sky was particularly spectacular so I really could not resist. I got lucky with a bit of sun glare in a few of the right places as well. Some photographers try to avoid it but in the right shot it can look amazing.

      • Aaaah , OK, Thanks, had the long beach at Grange over Sands in mind -so, not so far away, but not close enough to win a cigar.
It was the reflections in all the pools on the beach I think.

      • Ah yes I know where you mean. This part of the beach is near where we are, just away from the town so it is always lovely and quiet. So lucky except when it is blowing a gale, which is quite often actually. lol
