Happily capturing moments in life.
That’s an intriguing set of parallel lines running diagonally across the landscape there.
I wonder if it used to be where boundary walls used to be?
Two long straight lines cutting across and ignoring field boundaries – suggests a possible Roman road to me.
I may have other photos of it, I’ll have a proper look tonight Brian.
Majestic and simply beautiful!
Thank you very much, it is a beautiful place 🙂
Thank you 🙂
You’re so welcome – that shot is just peaceful and the loveliest shade of green nicely done!
Thank you so much, there are some more for this walk in here https://winedrinkingmummy.wordpress.com/2013/09/22/i-climbed-a-hill-and-took-some-photographs/
Lovely Jo! I drove through that area when I was home last week, and wished that I could capture the quality of the light on the landscape, it was just amazing! Just bought my first proper camera (with lenses and all) to try and do just that, I’m fascinated by the effect of light on the landscape. Unfortunately the instruction manual is in chinese, which, surprisingly, I’m not fluent in 🙂
I am increasingly surprised by how many beautiful views are so close by. I shall be hunting a few more out when I can. I also love how the light can change a landscape so much. Looks like having a bit of a hike with the camera may have to become a new hobby. 🙂 Good luck with your new camera, I bet the internet will give some pointers. I will very much look forward to seeing your shots.
