  1. Love these shots… the jets… are fabulous. I love Air Shows so I am partial to this photo. However, the last one… is that metal sheeting on the beach! WOW! What an eye!

    • Thank you. The last one is a slow shutter of a friend who does fire spinning. Hopefully I will get him back down to the beach when the nights start to draw in.

    • Thank you, I am hoping that as the nights draw in a little more we can do some more fire spinning shots as I know a little more about my camera these days.

    • Thank you Argus that to me is actually the highest compliment that anybody could pay me. That is why we share our photographs. I feel exactly the same about lots of photographs that I have seen on here and elsewhere that has made me think I need to know how to do that. So I look forward to seeing your take on them and will of course have a look at your blog. 🙂

    • Hi Jill, yes that was fire spinning, long shutter speed on that one to get the soft flowing motion. Thank you for your lovely comment. 🙂

      • thanks, I’ve never really tried the slow shutter speed. Mostly cause I hate to carry around anything but a point and shoot. Don’t want to deal with a tripod, etc. I see it helps a lot tho. Your photos turned out really nice.
