Weekly Photo Challenge – Container
I haven’t had anytime to spend on WordPress in the last few weeks as we have been busy, busy so I am due for a good catch up soon. In the meantime this is the only photo I can find that I can match to this challenge. It is a box that contains my son… so technically a container?
Excellent.
Thank you very kindly Rabrius π
Oh yes… Like this!
Thank you very much. Funnily enough I was going through my photographs to make prints for the house and this was one of them, so I just happened to have it in a folder on my desktop ready to send off otherwise I wouldn’t have thought to use it for this challenge. π
The serendipitous ones are often the most interesting! I quite enjoy seeing the challenge and then having a trawl through some photos thinking what might apply… Pleasurable trip through images that I might not otherwise have!
Really nicely done – good to find one that is working π
Thank you very kindly π
What a fantastic image!
Too kind. Thank you very much π
Love this photo.
Thank you colline, I just need time to go through everyone else’s now. Not had a minute to myself recently. I need to catch up on the last two challenge entries. π
Ye godsβa modern kid that knows how to work a real phone? Where did you get the penny? And yep, it’s a container, you fit the bill (nice dramatic shot too).
Oh it is way more than a penny these days Argus π Thank you as always for you kind comment.
Not many of these phone booths left anymore, since everyone seems to have a cellphone or smartphone now.
You are right there, however in Blackpool there are about 5 of them in a row and I hope that they keep them for nostalgic purposes alone. They are quite good at that so fingers crossed they will be here for a while yet. Now that has made me want to go and photograph them again but a little differently. π
Love it – great interpretation
Thank you very much π
What a clever take on the theme!
Thank you, I was struggling with what to use for this one. I am not really a photographer of objects as such which maybe I need to remedy.
Very nice interpretation of the challenge.
Thank you very kindly indeed Alan.
Love it.
Thank you very much indeed for your kind comment.
Lovely photo and I think they will soon be truly ‘extinct’ in that form π
Yes you are right, I was just saying earlier on that I really should go and photograph them again as there are still quite a few of them in Blackpool. I am so glad they have kept them. Perhaps I will make that a little project that I can hopefully squeeze into another challenge that comes up? If they do ‘Nostalgic’ sometime in the future?
Yepp – that’s a container… As a drug dealing person outside of our telephone exchange found out when one of our guys leaned heavily on the door while we called the Police… No way out! π Never mess with a K6 phone box and telephone engineers π
Ha that’s funny.:-)
More a “containhim” than a “containher”, then, I suppose π
(Sorry for the pun. I am French after all. That’s what we do :p )
Ha yes, I like that π
LOVE the grittiness of this photo!! And the composition works wonderfully! A great capture that makes me want to know what the phone conversation is about π
