Weekly Photo Challenge – Focus. The eye’s (or rather eye) have it.
I love this weeks challenge because I really love playing with depth of field. However, the first one I wanted to add was this one, simply because this week I have been practising a lot on making eyes the focal point in my portrait shots. Portrait is something I am really only just starting to concentrate on properly.
I will definitely be out with the camera this week messing with depth of field so will be adding at least one more into this challenge for sure however, I still hope that this one fitted the challenge of ‘focus’ a little.

Nice entry.
Thank you x I am just about to go see if I can find some of the others that were posted for half and hour before bed. 🙂
I look forward to seeing them 🙂
Very well done! Great crop too.
Making this a B&W really makes your focus – the eye – stand out.

Thank you. I didn’t crop this one though I took it like this, I did crop a tiny bit but not much. Very close up with a 50mm fixed prime lens. 🙂
You got the edge on the face just perfect! That’s hard to do without a crop. It looks very sharp too.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you, got rid of a bit of the bottom half of it as it didn’t really add anything to it and I did crop in a bit from the left, there is not way I could have got that bang on without much more practice lol 🙂
I love this shot. Jo, you’re too good.
I just saw yours and fell in love with them! Gorgeous.
Great minds think alike! {;~}
